2009 program for Festival Presentations
Thursday and Saturday presentations will be held in the Southern Cross University Room at the Byron Bay Community Centre - these events are FREE to anybody.
The Byron Underwater Festival Finale will be at the Buddha Bar - the UF09 Finale event is a FREE event - Underwater Festival Participants will receive MadFish fine wine.

- 7.00pm - Why Seahorses are Sexier than Shipwrecks - by marine biologist Dave Harasti
- Saturday 2 May - Photography Skills and Critters

4.00pm - Weird and Exotic Critters of NSW - by marine biologist Dave Harasti
- 4.45pm - Art of Composition in Underwater Photography - by underwater photography legend Mathieu Meur from Singapore.
- 5.30pm - Applying Underwater Photography to 3D Modeling - by Prof. Karen G. Haines from the University of Western Australia’s Supercomputer Program.
- Saturday 2 May - World Premiere of Coral Sea Dreaming II in HD at the Byron Lounge Cinema

6.30pm - Coral Sea Dreaming II in High Definition - a world premiere with personal introduction by filmmaker David Hannan himself. Entry is $10, please pre-book tickets in the events shop.
- Sunday 3 May - UF09 Finale
